Leamington Spa Relaxed Church Wedding

The Morning at home

Becky and Trevor’s wedding is something else! So so cool – they chose to get married in a Leamington Spa Relaxed Church Wedding. Not only that but they also had their reception in the church that they love so much.

My day started out at Becky’s house with the girls, while my second shooter Sophie popped over to see Trevor and the guys – its always lovely to have a second photographer, especially for church weddings as the movement in the ceremony can be restrictive sometimes!

Becky chose a sheath style wedding dress with lace detailing and beautiful turquoise bridesmaid dresses. She had her hair done by the lovely Anna Coops from The Salon in Leamington Spa.

The Ceremony at St Paul’s Church

Soon it was time to go over to get married! The community in St Paul’s church in Leamington Spa is fantastic – lots of singing, music and dancing, its not your usual service and really does get everybody involved.
The building itself is gothic revival architecture, the inside is lovely and light so perfect for hosting both the ceremony and reception.

Portraits at Jephson Gardens

After the ceremony we had group photos in the garden to the side and then went on over to Jephson Gardens for some couple portraits while the church was turned around for the wedding breakfast. It was Spring so we were spoilt with springtime blooms and cherry blossom!

Reception Back at St Paul’s Church!

When we got back to the church it was beautifully decorated with fairy lights, flowers and gin bottles to follow with the gin themed table plan and the really cool gin bar set up for the evening reception.

To top off the end of the celebrations instead of a first dance Becky and Trevor decided to have a Ceilidh with the maid of honour and best man! It truly was a relaxed and such a fun wedding for a wonderful couple. Wishing you a long lovely lifetime together with the coolest last name as The Whales!!
