The Day had finally arrived – Alyson & James were getting Married!!
With the weather forecast looking bleak again we all prayed to the wedding gods to give us a little bit of a dry spell on the wedding morning when I arrived to Alyson’s house. The upstairs was buzzing with six bridesmaids all getting ready, Aly’s Little brother Jack helping out and Aly’s Mum running errands before the trip to the church! Alyson wore an amazing A-Line Princess cut dress, Ivory lace shoes (which soon got covered in mud!) and held a beautiful Ivory and pink rose bouquet, I think we can all agree she looked amazing.
We headed out into the back yard under a cute wooden covered area for some photos incase later in the day didn’t dry up – it was lovely and we even managed to catch some photos with little Loki!
Soon it was time to head off to the church, I arrived as the vicar was walking up the path and we awaited the arrival of the bride! Alyson arrived in a Landrover with cute little bride and groom bears on the front – so adorable, then it was time to walk down and meet her (future) husband!
After the ‘I do’s’ and group photos we headed over to the Dorothea Mitchell Hall in Claverdon for afternoon tea followed by speeches. I have to say the best men did a brilliant job, they pretended to loose the speech and then ran out of the hall. A video then popped up on the projector of their mission to find it, ending with them entering (wobbily!) on Hoverboards, it was hilarious!
Afterwards the bouncy castle and mechanical bull was open for playtime – I was stoked when James and Alyson both had a go, and the guys loved showing off their backflips! The evening went on to host a hog roast, hoverboard dancing (Check out the piggyback picture!) and an amazing sunset!
