I met Caroline & Jamie through photographing the wedding of their close friends Becky & Gareth a few years ago – Apparently I took a picture of Jamie looking like James bond and that swayed them to have my as their photographer – Hooray!
I was so excited to shoot at Bradley Church & Pendrell Hall, the first time for both, and see all of the amazing DIY work that they had put into their special day, Jamie is a graphic designer so there were so many super cool designs implemented into their day.
Bradley Church & Pendrell Hall Wedding
My day started at Caroline’s mums house, where all of the bridesmaids and Caroline’s Mum and Dad were getting ready, the makeup was being done by Helen Pearson MUA and the beautiful flowers were made and delivered by Lavender Florist to match the colours in the bridesmaid dresses.
The girls all had their own pastel coloured bridesmaid dress which seemed to match them all beautifully, Caroline was wearing a classic trumpet style wedding dress which suited her figure beautifully – everything was so perfect!
The original plan was to walk over to Bradley Church (a stunning 13th century church) but the clouds were threatening so we thought it would be a little safer to drive round for the wedding ceremony. I captured the arrival before running into the church and getting into position – Jamie was looking very nervous at the front – ready to marry the girl of his dreams!
After the I do’s we came outside for confetti and cuddles, before rushing off to Pendrell, with the threat of rain – but in the end we were so lucky, we dodged all of the rain and ended up with some beautiful streaming sunshine. While we took the portraits guests played lawn games, took selfies in the home made photobooth (check it out – so cute) and relaxing in the gorgeous wood clad surroundings.
Soon the time came to cut the cake and have the first dance – which was a brilliant swing number, everyone got up onto the dance floor and the the band began – everyone danced the night away!
Caroline and Jamie are off in Croatia for their honeymoon at the moment – I hope you like your previews guys 🙂
